Dr. Pooneh Sabo

I’m Dr. Pooneh Sabo. I was raised in Southern California and went to UC Irvine for my undergraduate studies. I went on to University of the Pacific dental school in San Francisco and graduated in 1994. I have been practicing in Northern California ever since. My heart has always been in Southern California specifically Orange County so I decided to open a practice in Orange County in 2006.

My husband Kia and I have been married since 1998 and have a son Milan who was born in 2004. Kia is also a dentist and is a 2006 graduate of the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy running after Milan and taking him to the park, zoo etc. also I love shopping and dinners out in nice restaurants.

When Kia and I had our son, it occurred to us how our lives had changed and how hard it was to fit every thing in, including doctor’s appointments. With my over ten years of experience with patients and their busy schedules, It accrued to me that the standard dental practice model did not accommodate family’s and individual’s busy schedule so the concept of OC DENTAL was born.

At OC DENTAL we provide the best dental care possible with the highest technology at a reasonable cost to the entire family six days a week with an emphasis on customer care and patient comfort. We also have tried to make the dental experience fun with really cool games for kids and massage chairs and direct TV for adults. This concept of all specialty dental services under one roof with minimal referrals to other offices is very unique to dentistry and hopefully it’s one that you could appreciate and also enjoy.

Establishing OC DENTAL as the ultimate dental experience is my passion and I appreciate the honor of serving each and every one of you.

Dr. Farshin Farokhian

I am Dr. Farshin Farokian. However at OC Dental Center I go by Dr. Farshin. I attended and graduated from the prestigious institution of Loma Linda University. Upon graduation form Loma Linda School of Dentistry, I was the recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award, as well as the Baum Gold Foil Award.

I am currently an Assistant Professor Department of Restorative Dentistry at Loma Linda University, where I teach all aspects of Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry.

I have been practicing dentistry for 5 years; where it has been a joy to recondition and create beautiful smiles. I am an expert in extreme makeovers and full mouth reconstruction including porcelain veneers and implant placement and restoration. I will be delighted to help you with your cosmetic dentistry needs. Let me have the pleasure to show you what a great smile makeover could do for you.

When I am not in the office or teaching, I enjoy dinning out, the theater, and martial arts.

Dr. Jeffrey A. Elo

I am Dr. Jeffrey A. Elo. I was raised just outside of Chicago. I attended Indiana University for my undergraduate studies, where I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in philosophy. I then continued my studies, pursuing a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University. Then, I changed gears and attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating magna cum laude. Pursuing my interest in Maxillofacial Reconstructive Surgery, I then completed my 4-year Oral and maxillofacial Surgery hospital-based residency at Loma Linda University, I also obtained a Master of Science degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I still remain on staff as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center/School of Dentistry.

My beautiful Southern California-raised wife, Gabriela, who is a nurse, and I enjoy spending time together at the beach walking our dog, Max; going to the movies, and just hanging out with friends when we can. We are members of the Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside. We also realy enjoy traveling when time allows.

Some of the surgical services I enjoy providing to my patients include: Placement of dental implants, bone graft augmentation of the jaws prior to implant placement, removal of painful or impacted teeth, intravenous sedation/anesthesia, sinus lifts, and removal/recostruction of oral pathology.

Dr. Brennan Cassidy, Cosmetic Dermatologist

I’m Dr. Brennan Cassidy, specializing in Cosmetic Dermatology. I am Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and have been in practice in Orange County for years. I was Founding Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine and remain currently a member of the Medical Staff at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. My private practice is very close to OC Dental Center.

As a supplement to your Cosmetic Dental Care at OC Dental, I am happy to provide Cosmetic Dermatology Services such as Botox®, Restylane® and Juvederm™ dermal fillers and the non-surgical “mini-facelift” using the above. All of the above contribute to softening or reduction of lines and wrinkles and refilling areas of lost tissue from sun damage and aging. Augmentation of the lips and nasolabial folds are common examples.

We also offer laser and light procedures at our nearby Dermatology office for facial rejuvenation, removal of sun/age related damage, brown/red spots, and unsightly visible blood vessels by Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Fotofacial. This procedure also improves skin tone and texture, smoothing the skin and reducing pore size.

Laser Hair Removal (LHR) and Laser Tattoo Removal (LTR) are also available.

In my free time I enjoy tennis, skiing, travel, Italian food, and Italians. I have friends and family in Italy and love to go there.
