Dental X-Rays

Dental X-rays have multiple uses including:

Pain and discomfort symptoms prior to arrival. Injuries such as fractures or breaks in the tooth root, damages to the structures which support teeth, and cavities are typical findings of an x-ray.

Teeth that are impacted will break through the gum in the wrong location or by being impeded by other teeth can be prevented.

X-rays can actually prove to be a life-saving measure because of findings like cysts, solid growths such as tumors, or abscesses.

X-rays are done on children where permanent teeth are coming in while primary teeth are still present to make sure of no potential problems.

For difficult tooth extractions, the placement of dental implants, potential root canal surgeries, and advance intelligence on large or extensive cavities x-rays are the best route.

Children's teeth which are not coming in straight can be planned for orthodontic purposes.

We take action on problems before they get out of hand which is why dental x-rays provide a huge value to our patients. X-rays are a vital element in our preventative care regimen for our clients.
