Meet the Doctors

I'm Dr. Pooneh Sabo. I was raised in Southern California and went to UC Irvine for my undergraduate studies. I went on to University of the Pacific dental school in San Francisco and graduated in 1994. I have been practicing in Northern California ever since. My heart has always been in Southern California specifically Orange County so I decided to open a practice in Orange County in 2006.

I have been married since 1998 and my husband and I have a son Milan who was born in 2004, and a new-born daughter, Mika, born in December 2008.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy taking care of Mika or running after Milan and taking them to the park, zoo etc. I also enjoy shopping, dining out and spending time with my extended family.

When we had our son, it occurred to me how our lives had changed and how hard it was to fit every thing in, including doctor's appointments. With my over fifteen years of experience with patients and their busy schedules, it occurred to me that the standard dental practice model did not accommodate a family's or individual's busy schedule so the concept of OC DENTAL was born.

At OC DENTAL we provide the best dental care possible with the highest technology at a reasonable cost to the entire family six days a week with an emphasis on customer care and patient comfort. We also have tried to make the dental experience fun with really cool games for kids and massage chairs and direct TV for adults. This concept of all specialty dental services under one roof with minimal referrals to other offices is very unique to dentistry and hopefully it's one that you could appreciate and also enjoy.

Establishing OC DENTAL as the ultimate dental experience is my passion and I appreciate the honor of serving each and every one of you.

I am Dr. Farshin Farokian. However at OC Dental Center I go by Dr. Farshin. I attended and graduated from the prestigious institution of Loma Linda University. Upon graduation form Loma Linda School of Dentistry, I was the recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award, as well as the Baum Gold Foil Award.

I am a former Assistant Professor from the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Loma Linda University, where I taught all aspects of Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry. I am also a Noble Biocare Premier Implant Specialist Provider.

I have been practicing dentistry since 2003 and truly enjoy reconditioning and creating beautiful smiles. I am an expert in extreme makeovers and full mouth reconstruction including porcelain veneers, implant placement, restoration, and other oral surgery procedures. I have completed well over 1,000 dental implant procedures, including Complete Implant placements and restorative procedures. I will be delighted to help you with your cosmetic dentistry needs. It would be my pleasure to show you what a great smile makeover could do for you.

When I am not in the office or teaching, I enjoy dining out, the theater, and martial arts.

Hello, my name is Dr. Kia Ramezani. I am a graduate of the prestigious Arthur A. Dugoni University of the Pacific School of Dentistry.

I enjoy all aspects of the dental field. I chose dentistry as a career because I love to create lasting, beautiful smiles.

I take pride in my commitment to providing my patients with the highest quality care and attention they deserve. I listen closely to my patients to gain an understanding of what they would like to accomplish. Then I create a treatment plan that is specific to their needs and always use the most appropriate and successful technology and procedures available.

Dentistry is my passion and I would be honored to help you with your dental needs.

When I am not practicing dentistry, I love to play basketball, watch a good movie or go to the beach with my wife and two children.

I graduated from the Colombian School of Dentistry in 1988. I completed my residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1995. I've been practicing in Southern California since 1997. I feel a commitment to my patients to provide them with the best care for their dental needs. I am proud to say that at OC Dental Center Dentists, Assistants and Front Desk Personnel work as a team to meet or exceed patient's expectations.
